Happy New Year 2019 !!! Acumatica Support for for 2019.

We had a great year 2018 with development of our new plugin Acumatica JewelShop (coming soon in Jan 2019) and a good run with Acumatica PrintShop and eSignature plugins.

We will continue to invest our time in these vertical plugins for Promotional Product Industry and Jewelry Industries.

We are thankful to our customers, vendors and staff in making this journey and looking forward to many more years...

Acumatica Business Events - Create, Subscribe and Get Notified

Acumatica Business Events was introduced in 2018 R1, much anticipated feature for business to notify Acumatica users with custom business event notification.

Think about using these events for a business scenario
For example: Send an email notification based on Generic Inquiry (which pulls data from multiple sources/tables) and based on the results/records you can then trigger to send email or mobile notifications or have a scheduler based event to send emails.

Configuration: Acumatica business events allows you to configure on existing screen or new screens created via Generic inquires or custom screens, giving users flexibility to query the system and use the record-set to trigger based on field change value or record inserted or updated event Or you can schedule to run based on scheduler subscriber and notify the users.
I'm using record inserted event here as an example.

Notify Subscriber: It allows to subscribe to either email notification or mobile notifications which I find it …

Acumatica 2018 R2 - Improved Display of Personal Names and Contact Information

In Acumatica ERP 2018 R2, the following improvements have been introduced to allow organizations to control the way personal names and contact information are displayed throughout the system.

Display Name Order
By using a new setting, Display Name Order, on the Site Preferences (SM200505) form (shown in the following screenshot), an administrator can now specify which name order is to be used for displaying the personal names of all contacts, employees, and users. Name order is the order in which the parts of a person's name (first name, middle name, and last name) are displayed.

The following options are available for selection in the drop-down list:

Eastern Modified: The name order used in all previous versions of Acumatica ERP. After an upgrade to 2018 R2, this option will be selected by default, which will preserve the original order. Western: The name order in which the first name is followed by the last name (for exampl…

Automate Your Shipment Process With Custom Scanning for Acumatica Shipment Screen

We often run into bottlenecks and inefficiencies using an ERP software and would love to automate such business process, scanning serial numbers across various screens allows to sell products & ship faster.

Problem Definition: Customer would like to ship more orders, often they are faced with shipping department not being efficient and unable to ship products faster.
The Shipment screen allows to allocate products picker is picking and has to manually allocate these serialized inventory to shipment before confirming and making sure they are shipping the right product and keeping track of serialized inventory.

Solution: It would be great to allow scanning of serialized inventory quickly with bar-code scanner or keying the serial number on shipment screen, allowing to allocate the serial numbers across multiple location.

Custom Solution: We utilized Acumatica framework SDK and customized Shipment Screen ID SO302000 and added a new button called "UPLOAD LOT/SERIAL" upon click…

Acumatica PrintShop is now compatible with 2018 R1 version, we have published our package with new Modern UI and customers can now upgrade to this latest version.

Acumatica 2018 R1 version has some interesting automation features and Quick Order was one of them.
In the distribution world various companies, would like to automate their business process, most like structured approach and process while few would like quick order and cut down the additional steps with one click.

Uptime of SaaS hosted Acumatica Cloud ERP

One of the biggest concern of SaaS customers "Would my ERP go down? Or it may not be accessible due to internet connectivity or hacking or any other million reasons..."

Yes, there is that slight chance of 0.1% that something can go wrong, for unpredictable reasons ...
